- What does your job entail?
- My job entails, cold calling, area mapping, door stepping all ways of new business generation and lead generation. Formatting proposals to potential clients, presenting PowerPoint presentations to potential clients, overcoming objectives and providing bespoke recruitment solutions
- What are the most enjoyable parts of your job role?
- Building relationships with clients, that enable us to form long term partnerships, having those partnerships rewarded with continued growth and new business opportunities
- Where do you see your career going?
- Continued growth and expertise within my field, learning new skills and developing my own ability to improve in what I do on a day to day basis, utilising my management skills within this field in order to help others achieve their goals
- How would you describe your work environment?
- My work environment is both enjoyable and informative, surrounded by people with expertise in different sectors of our industry enables me to have the support and the insight to gain priceless knowledge from my peers and colleagues. Our working environment is one where you work hard, give 100% effort and you are acknowledged and rewarded. Extra Personnel has a family company feel with open communication from director level to our administration support team
- What advice would you give to someone new starting in recruitment?
- Working in recruitment requires a certain type of individual, I would say the skill sets you need to have include, confidence, tenacity, persistence, professionalism, this is a sales role first and foremost so your communication skills are the key to your own success with the ability to present at all levels, you must have an open mind to learn and the initiative to act on those skills. Drive and determination will only help you succeed and being personable is a must

- I have worked for Extra Personnel for a total of 9 years in various roles and what attracted me to work for them was the structure of the company, the ability to progress and cross train in various sectors, to have the support and the continued belief to push yourself harder to achieve your goals
