- What does your job entail?
- I am the Senior Recruitment Consultant managing our Black Country Commercial Service Centre.
Alongside managing the team I'm responsible for maintaining long standing and strategic relationships with clients and candidates throughout a variety of industries from private to public sector offering recruitment solutions suited to their needs.
The role involves implementing the recruitment process, effectively matching suitable candidates for suitable vacancies/clients through qualification and referencing whilst gaining a good understanding of the clients needs and industry.
Further to this I'm responsible for the development of Extra Personnel's market presence within the Black Country Area, supporting and managing my team to maximise opportunity within our market place. - What are the most enjoyable parts of your job role?
- I enjoy the variety - no two day's are the same!!
It's great to work in a positive environment and I enjoy all aspects of the role from supporting and managing the team to contributing to team and individual targets to maximise business opportunity to generate revenue. - Where do you see your career going?
- Looking to the future I would like the opportunity to utilise my knowledge primarily from a temp point of view, overseeing and helping to improve commercial plans across our branch network.
- How would you describe the work environment?
- Our working environment is very positive - we have a good support network and positive team spirit!
Everyone works together cooperatively as a team to accomplish a common goal.

It's important to have a high level of commitment, work hard, be passionate and believe in what you do!!! - What attracted you to working for Extra Personnel?
- I was looking for a fresh challenge and wanted to work within an industry where I could utilise my past experiences and further my future ambitions and career.
Extra Personnel were able to make this happen!!
Seven years on my career path continues to move forward in the right direction and I can happily say that I have never looked back!!
