Extra Personnel require a fully qualified MHE assessor to RTITB or ITASSAR standards, to be based in Doncaster and Worksop, but will involve supporting on training needs at other locations in the Yorkshire areas. The candidate will need to be able to refresh, assess and novice train, minimum Reach, Counterbalance essential but VNA would also be preferred, as well as PPT, LLOP HLOP essential.

The candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in successful training, but full training on client specific paperwork will be given.

Normal hours of work will be 0800-1630, with flexibility to suit.

We currently have an opportunity for a MHE Assessor (Mechanical Handling Equipment) to join our team in Doncaster

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm however flexibility is required to support multiple sites in Doncaster and Worksop.

The successful candidate will be responsible for primarily co-ordinating, administering and delivering the Mechanical Handling Equipment Training provision throughout the business, as well as leading the Manual Handling Training programme.

Highly motivated, with good communication skills, the MHE Assessor will be accountable for ensuring that the MHE training is organised and delivered in line with business objectives and complies with the appropriate MHE and Health & Safety regulations.

Good organisation skills with an excellent attention to detail, the MHE assessor will deliver the following MHE Training Programmes to an excellent standard and on time:

  • Pivot steer conversion (Flexi)
  • counterbalance forklift (Gas, Electric, Diesel)
  • VNA
  • PPT
  • LLOP
  • HLOP
  • electric pallet truck
  • electric reach truck

A valid Instructor / Examiner certificate is required to deliver this role.

Full driving licence due to business travel, expenses paid for travel to other sites
